Estate Cleanout Rhode Island: Whole Properties, One Day
When a Whole Space Has to Be Emptied
An estate cleanout in Rhode Island rarely happens on a good week. Somebody has died, or a sale is closing, or a bank has set a date. Whichever it is, the job is the same: a building full of thirty years of belongings and not enough time.
We do the sorting and the carrying. If you want to keep things, set them aside or point them out and we work around them. If there is paperwork, photographs or jewellery in a drawer nobody checked, we stop and hand it to you rather than load it.
Most properties take one day. Larger ones take two.

Who Calls Us for This
Families settling an estate, usually from out of state and working to a flight. Estate attorneys and executors. Property managers and landlords turning a unit around. Realtors with a listing that has to be photographed on Friday.
If you are not in Rhode Island, you do not need to be. Give us access and we send photographs as the work progresses and when it is finished.
What an Estate Cleanout Costs in Rhode Island
Cleanouts are priced on volume, the same as everything else, with two differences.
Sorting takes time, so a property where everything goes is priced differently from one where half of it is being kept. And access matters more here than on any other job, because a third floor attic with a pull-down ladder is not a garage with a roller door.
Donation runs are included. Anything usable goes to shelters in Providence or to Habitat for Humanity Rhode Island rather than to landfill, and you are not charged extra for the detour.
Phyllis had us for a full day on an estate and we still came in under every other quote she took.

Common questions
Cleanouts, Answered
How do I get a price for a cleanout?
Call us or send photos, one per room. For a whole property we will usually come and walk it with you first, because a cleanout quote given off photographs alone is a guess. The walkthrough is free.
What happens if you find something valuable?
We stop and give it to you. Documents, photographs, jewellery and cash turn up in cleanouts more often than people expect, and nothing leaves in the truck until you have seen it.
Do I have to be there?
No. Plenty of our cleanout customers are out of state. Arrange access and we will send photographs during the job and when the property is empty.
Can you work around things we are keeping?
Yes. Tag them, put them in one room, or walk us round and point. We would rather ask twice than take something you wanted.
How long does a whole house take?
Most take one day. Very full properties, or ones with difficult access, run to two. We tell you which after the walkthrough, not halfway through the job.
